LA Water Department Won't Drink Their Own Water

Officials in the LA water department have been working for two years to insure LA residents that their tap water is top quality and safe to drink. In fact, the department spend $1 million dollars in this PR effort. Well ... now it seems that we have learned that during those very same two years the LA water department spent nearly $89,000 on bottled water for their offices.
