My wife in disbelief told me about this case several days ago. She said she heard but couldn't believe it so she checked it out online and found it to be true.WWAY TV 3 A 10-year-old boy is facing charges tonight for sexually assaulting a five-year-old girl. Wilmington Police say the boy assaulted the girl Saturday in a play area at the Chase Mooring apartment complex. They tell us after the attack a doctor examined the girl and found no signs of sexual penetration. Authorities say both children are getting psychological help from professionals. From what I've gathered the 5 year old girl and her 10 year old brother rode their bikes to the park to play. While there they met anothe10 year old boy. For some reason the girl's brother left her at the park for a few minutes. Upon his return he saw the other boy pulling down his sister's pants and laying on top of her. He ran up and chased the boy off the brother and sister then rode home and reported what had happened to their parents. The boy whom attacked the girl is at home but an investagtion is suppose to be going on into how the boy learned of sexual contact. Seems to me that someone (parent, brother, cousin, family friend) has allowed this child to see acts (real acts, videos, ...) that a 10 year old should never be shown. Something is wrong in that home.
